1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of EncoreLife (the “Service”), a personal dashboard for organizing daily life in retirement. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for activity that happens under it. Please tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access. The Service is intended for adults, and you must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Your content

Everything you add lists, contacts, links, notes, calendar entries, addresses belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of it. You grant us only the permission needed to store it and display it back to you as part of operating the Service.

You are responsible for what you add. Please do not store content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights. If you add other people's personal information such as a family member's mailing address you are responsible for handling it appropriately.

4. Connected services

The Service can connect to third-party accounts you authorize, including Google Calendar. When you connect one, you allow us to read and write data in that account as needed to provide the relevant feature. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they operate. You can disconnect them at any time.

5. AI-generated features

Some features generate text using an AI model, including the assistant, the daily quote, weekly activity suggestions, and article drafts. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

Nothing in the Service is medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. Content about health, exercise, money, insurance, or discounts is general information only. Please confirm important decisions with a qualified professional, and confirm offers and prices directly with the business providing them.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Where we reasonably can, we will give notice before a change that would materially reduce the Service.

7. Your data and deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account and its data. See the Privacy Policy for what we store and how to request deletion.

8. Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data arising from your use of the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will ask you to review and accept the updated terms before you continue using the Service.
